Love a good flat lay…

ALICE Butt Pack Bushcraft Daypack Bushcraft Graybear Axe Hobo Stove

I’m a sucker for a good flat lay. So here’s one featuring old gear and new gear- namely the Graybear Outdoor Axe and a Graybear Scandi. Fresh off the workbench. Here’s the list- spiraling from top left:

1- Graybear Outdoor Axe

2- Hobo Stove (With Stanley Cooketset inside)

3-IMCO Lighter

4-Graybear Scandi/Sheath

5-Hiking Tarp

6-Multitool

7- Army Canteen/Cup

8-ALICE Butt Pack

I’ve had the pack itself for years. Picked it up randomly from a surplus store, not knowing it was actually relatively rare here in Australia- the ALICE load out system was used for years here in Australia in the forces- and the Butt Pack was an extra to the main Large ALICE pack- (got one of those too- I’ll have to show you sometime). I’ve added the strap and gee it holds a lot.

The Hobo stove is an IKEA cutlery holder- about $2 worth with a hole cut for access. Fire it with wood or with an alcohol stove- makes short work of boiling a pot of water.

I’m hoping to stock the IMCO Lighters in the store soon- I love the utilitarian old-school feel. Better than a el cheapo plastic one.

More flat lays I say.
